THE PRIORITY OF CARE GROUPS
We all have a need to be known and to know. In fact, our fellowship with God involves our knowing Him even as we are known by Him. People have the same need; we all have a need to be understood and appreciated by those around us. Our small groups are the best setting for this to happen. It is the place to share with each other, get to know each other, and receive personal care and prayer from week to week. People always grow whenever they give and receive these things.
It is difficult to do this during our Sunday gathering, so we make time for this and give opportunity for it week by week in our small groups. People are looking for healthy, supportive relationships, so our goal is to create a small group structure that will be the primary place where that can take place. As our church continues to grow, our small groups will become even more essential in helping us feel connected to each other.
